Second Party Audit

A second party audit is an audit of a supplier carried out by, or on behalf of, its customer. Unlike a certification audit, it does not check against a generic standard alone, but against what you actually require: your purchase specifications, quality requirements, contractual obligations and the codes and standards that apply to your products.
