Remote & Virtual Inspection

Remote virtual inspection (RVI) gained widespread acceptance when travel and on-site access became constrained, and has since become an established option in its own right. Site inspections, virtual audits and assessments of specific components — during manufacturing, fabrication or in-service operation — can all be conducted remotely, reducing travel time and cost while keeping verification independent and documented.

Arotec Quality supports two models. In a closed-loop approach, the supplier manages the software and hardware within their own environment. In a more open approach, we provide the system and allow inspections to be documented through a range of devices — smartphones, tablets, smart glasses, drones or mobile service robots — chosen to suit the asset and setting.

We deploy specialists to attend virtual inspections directly, or establish a setup that lets the client participate live while our inspector is on-site. This flexibility makes RVI suitable both as a standalone service and as a complement to physical inspection — extending reach without compromising rigour.
